Is it just me that thinks the weekend is over in the blink of an eye? Before you know it Monday has rolled around again, the alarm clock is sat beeping away and all you want to do is snooze for another half an hour. That’ll no doubt be me tomorrow morning once I have finally written this blog post.
In a bid to be more positive in life (see my last post), I am definitely taking on a different approach to Mondays. They are, after all, the start of a brand new week. A new week in which we can make a difference to our own lives as well as for others. It can be a fresh start for some, a new beginning for change to take place, for instance the start of a new fitness regime, or to finally start that diary you have always said you would. Mine is to finally start Project Life, I purchased the items I needed in January to get started but I have been so busy that it has just sat in a box under my bed.
I also really want to become more active than I am, ever since I got my car in November my fitness level has dropped quite a bit. I used to walk 2.6 miles a day for work every single day, therefore going from that to just the odd run here and there has made me feel rather shameful. I think I will start off with the 30 Day Shred to get me back into the swing of things, that is after all, a routine I really like and having had positive results from it before I am quite keen to give it another go.
Dress – Primark, Bag – c/o She In
My final thought to share with you this Monday is this utterly gorgeous bag from She In which I received a couple of weeks ago. I had been meaning to share it sooner but the weather has been terrible lately, naturally I wanted to show it off in all its glory. The Chain Saddle Bag* is most notably somewhat of a dupe for a rather more expensive bag, only for a fraction of the price. The quality of this is really good, in fact I will be honest in saying that this far outweighed my expectations, therefore I would highly recommend it to those who are looking for a much more budget friendly option to the Chloe Drew. Like most people, I am not in a position to be able to afford the original, despite wishing that I could. I am 27 and I have to be realistic, I have bills to pay and a cat to feed.
Overall I am delighted with this little bag; I can’t wait to take it out with me on my next dinner date. Sadly I am to become a hermit for the next two weeks (aside from work) as my exams are looming, wish me luck!
