January/February Empties!

I didn’t do an empties post in January as I had just two things and well, I thought they would look a little lonely up here all by themselves. Somehow though I have turned this right around and used up quite a lot of stuff since then, so it is a bit of a mix this one.

My trusty Camomile Gentle Eye Make-up Remover from The Body Shop made it
into my empties again read a review on this here. Along with this I did a
review on the Vitamin C Microdermabrasion scrub which I did really like
using, read this here.

Now, I
finally managed to use up a lip balm, can you believe it?! I’m now down to just
twelve… Anyway, the Blistex Intensive Moisturiser lip balm was actually
pretty nice and it did work to some extent for me, however I would not re-buy
it now as having purchased the NUXE Rève de Miel I found that to work so much
better for me personally. Blistex products are not cruelty free which is
another reason why I wouldn’t re-buy these products, plus as I said I have found
a much better alternative.

Now that
HUGE bottle of Pantene has been sitting in my bathroom for over one year,
that’s right, it has lasted me forever. This is because I found it made my hair
greasy if I used it too frequently so I only used this once or twice every two
weeks, this is a shame as I really love the smell of Pantene products. I will
not re-buy this again though as Pantene are not cruelty free and the products
also appear not to be too great for my bonnet, I’ve tried a number of them in the
past all resulting in the same greasy mop.

The Soap
and Glory No Clogs Allowed is actually a pretty good face mask, if it wasn’t
the fact that I have a number of face masks to use up I would have already have
re-purchased this. I found it made my skin look a lot clearer after using it as
well as enjoying having the feeling of it warming up on my face; overall a
great face mask.

I did have more products to put in but the photo turned out to be awful and I must admit I now have no time to re-take it as this is a scheduled post due to me going home for a week. I’m sure you and I will get over it.
