Despite it still being early November we all know that these cold blustery days will soon have us swiftly sweeping into December which means only one thing…..Christmas! I’ve put together a little Christmas Wish List with a few things that I really do like at the moment, catering to both personal use and the home.
In order to prepare for Christmas The Watch Hut are running a competition where you have the chance to win some ASOS vouchers, all you have to do is put a wish list together featuring one of the watches off their website. I knew immediately which watch I would use as I’ve looked at it before on more than one occasion.
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the obligatory festive jumper. I’ve being browsing quite a few sites at the moment as there are so many currently available, yet my favourite by far is the Snowflake Sweater from Next. It is available in three colours with the red one being my personal favourite. The quality looks really good with it looking a lot thicker than most Christmas jumpers that are out there at the moment.
Next up is a watch that I’ve being eyeing up for such a long time now; this is the Marc by Marc Jacobs Amy Rose Gold Bracelet Watch. Oh gosh I’m smitten with this, not just because my name is Amy which of course helps but because it is rose gold. I’ve wanted a piece of rose gold jewellery for a long time now, I originally looked at the cult favourite Michael Kors watches but they look a bit too big to me whereas this looks a bit smaller. Next up is a red lipstick from MAC, this isn’t however Russian Red, Ruby Woo or Lady Danger; it is in fact Lady Bug. Lady Bug is a lustre finish which means it will be a bit more sheer than say Ruby Woo for instance. I think this would be a great first red lipstick to try as I could start off slowly with it allowing myself to get used to having a brighter lip. Of course red is a gorgeous colour to wear throughout winter as well as Christmas day, it’ll probably rub off though eating all those chocolates!
For the first time ever on this blog (pretty sure but don’t quote me) I’m featuring a candle. I want a nice winter scented candle this Christmas that isn’t too spicy as even though I like these scents most tend to contain cinnamon which unfortunately I’m not too keen on. I’ve being browsing candles for the last few days and have stumbled upon the White Christmas Candle from The White Company. This sounds like such a delight with scents of honeysuckle, frankincense, sweet almond blossom and neroli .
Last but certainly not least is a Grey Wool Check Blanket which looks so cosy! I’m looking for a nice blanket that I can use on the end of the bed to make it look nice, however, the purpose of it does not end there as despite my cat most likely wanting to steal it (he steals all the blankets) I can think of nothing better than curling up on the sofa with a nice cup of hot chocolate, a good book and the blanket in tow.
