Summer is fast approaching and if there is one brand that knows how to do summer right, it is Clarins. This month sees the launch of their summer makeup collection which I managed to have a look at over the weekend; it is gorgeous! Alongside the new summer makeup collection, they have also collaborated with one of my favourite bloggers in the industry, Victoria from In The Frow who is the face of the summer campaign. This is a super exciting collaboration for me because not only is it between Clarins (which is a brand I adore) but it also involves Victoria who I have admired for a really long time and have followed since she started off blogging and sharing her content online.
As part of the summer campaign, Clarins and Victoria have put their creative minds together and have created this beautiful summer tote bag which you can fill with all of your Clarins essentials in order to get you ready for summer and kitted out for the beach. This is a gorgeous gift with purchase when you buy two products (one to be skincare) at your local Clarins counter. I think it is a fantastic gift with purchase that is really well made and fun for the summer, plus, upon qualifying for the free gift you can then pick out three luxury miniature products to take home with you out of a selection of ten. I found it hard to choose which three as I love so many of Clarins products.
In order to qualify for the free gift and miniatures, I chose skincare primarily. I had intended on buying one of the new Joli Rouge Lip Lacquers, however, the shade I liked wasn’t in stock, unfortunately. Therefore, in the end, I made a repurchase of a product which I have used in the past, that being the Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner. This is a really gentle exfoliator which works well on my skin without any form of irritation. I have always enjoyed using this and had thought about picking it up again this year, therefore this collaboration came just at the right time. The second skincare item I chose was the My Clarins Purifying Cleansing Gel. My Clarins is a new launch from the brand this year which has caught my eye. I picked this up with the intention of using this of a morning time as in the evening I like a cream product whereas in the morning a nice refreshing gel is always my preference.
Out of the ten miniatures that you can choose from, I opted firstly for the Tonic Bath and Shower Concentrate which I am lucky enough to say I have used before as it was once sent to me to feature. I adored it, but in truth could never quite justify the price to purchase it for myself in the future, so of course, I picked this up as a nice little treat. I will save this for when I really need a pamper. The second miniature I chose was the Multi-Active Jour Moisturiser. I opted for this as I already have some of the others from a previous gift with purchase, so it made sense to try something new. I also liked the fact that this is an antioxidant cream which seems to be quite topical at the moment. My last choice was the One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser which again is new to me. Whilst I really do enjoy using my chemical exfoliators, I do quite like now and again to dip into something which has a bit of oomph behind it, hopefully, this will do the trick nicely.

I was really excited to pick this up, one could say almost too excited as I headed on down to my local Boots one day early before it launched. I honestly could not be happier, it is such a lovely bag and of course, I will enjoy my new Clarins products too as well as being able to support Victoria in my own little way.
