It has been a little while since I featured one single product on here, I used to do this quite a bit but for some reason, it has fizzled out over the years. Today I am going back to an old school review of one of my favourite purchases of the year, the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette. Over the last few years, I have built up a little collection of the Charlotte Tilbury quads as I think they are awesome, I love their compact size and of course, the quality is fantastic and shades contained within them are beautiful. This was my fourth palette as I already own the Dolce Vita (now renamed The Bella Sofia), The Rock Chic and Fallen Angel. I really am over the moon with the latest edition to my collection and felt that it was about time that I shared it with you.
As like all the Charlotte Tilbury quads, there are four shades, prime, enhance, smoke and pop. The pop shade is always the glitter shade in my experience and in truth, it is the shade I reach for the least in all of the palettes as I wear them most in the day time, therefore I rarely reach for the glitter shades. That being said, they are great palettes to have in your handbag as they are so adaptable for taking your makeup from day time to evening which is of course where the sparkle comes into play. The prime shade is a soft salmon pink shimmer whilst the other two shades are matte in tones of a muted rose and mauve. The shades in this palette compliment each other so well and they are such a pleasure to use.
In respect of the glitter shade, I would advise applying this with your fingers as with a brush this can be a bit difficult as brushes do not pick the product up very well. Throughout my time in using this palette I have personally experienced no fallout from the product, it has been a pleasure to use. The longevity throughout the day has been great too. In truth I simply cannot fault the palette, it is divine in every single way.
Out of the Pillow Talk range, this is the first item that I own. For some reason, I still haven’t got around to purchasing the Lipstick (it is on my list) as well as the Lip Lustre as I do quite fancy trying that out too. From what I can see this is one of Charlotte Tilbury’s most successful lines and I can see why; it is just beautiful.
