Gifted (This post contains products which have been gifted to me for consideration, all thoughts are my own).
I am feeling rather festive at the moment, and somewhat out of breath after repeatedly chasing my cat away from this flat lay and the sparkly tinsel which caught his eye on numerous occasions. Let’s just say, he ended up being shunted out as an outcast whilst I finished my photos.
My festive feeling has been rather enhanced by this gorgeous L’Occitane Almond Body Collection* which I was kindly sent a few weeks ago. Having worked with L’Occitane in the past on several occasions I have to say that this is one of the nicest gift sets I have seen in a while. It is a beautiful gift to buy this Christmas for a loved one, let alone to receive.
If you are a fan of the almond scent then this set from L’Occitane is certainly a set to pop on your wish list as it is jam-packed full of luxurious almond-based products at a rather decent price point. The gift set retails at £49 yet is worth £58, it also comes in a beautiful keepsake box which you can store bits and bobs in for the next year (does anybody else do this with gift set boxes?). I still have a few from last year which are storing beauty samples in and perfume.

Inside this gorgeous gift, you get the following:
• 250ml Limited Edition Design Almond Shower Oil
• 100ml Almond Milk Concentrate
• 50g Almond Delicious Soap
• 30ml Almond Delicious Hands
The Almond Shower Oil* is one of my all-time favourite products from L’Occitane, to me, it is one of their stand out products too. It is so hydrating and I find that I feel and notice the effects of using this long after initial use in the shower. I have a couple of the Almond Delicious Soaps* but haven’t yet tried any as in truth they’re not products I reach for that often. That being said, my mum still likes using traditional soap and always has a dish of it in the bathroom so these may get passed onto her. I will keep one for me to try though as I adore the almond scent and knowing L’Occitane, I am quite certain that these will be nice and gentle on the hands.
To coincide with the soap, there is the Almond Delicious Hand Cream* which is quite simply divine! I love L’Occitane hand creams and always will, they’re probably my favourites as they sink in quickly, they’re not greasy and they leave my hands feeling so soft, plus, they come in these super handy handbag sizes.
To finish off the set there is the Almond Milk Concentrate* which is one of L’Occitanes best selling products that I have personally have wanted to test out for ages. This is a deeply hydrating body moisturiser which aims to firm and smooth the skin over time. It is pricey in itself at £25 for 100ml, however, if the reviews are anything to go by (I haven’t yet tried it), then it sounds like it could be worth the pennies.

I would also like to add that with the purchase of this particular gift, L’Occitane are donating £10 to the Woodland Trust (in association with the PUR Project) in order to replant native trees across the UK which I think is such a good cause.
Have you tried any of the Almond Body Care products from L’Occitane?
