I don’t know about you, but there have been far too many good releases lately in 2020 when it comes down to beauty, so much so that I somehow forgot my beauty spending ban and went a little bit wild. That stopped as of this week for a few months, I need to get myself back on track. For now, however, I wanted to share with you The Cult Beauty Starter Kit as it is still available at the time of writing and it is a great beauty bargain to be snapped up, especially if you want to try a couple of new brands.
I first saw a kit like this last year and at the time I decided not to pick it up. This year, once I saw it had been released again I didn’t hang around to buy it, just in case, it sold out quickly like last year. As it may be, it has stuck around longer this time around which must mean that they have more stock than before. Yay! The box cost me £30 and is worth just over £79, making it pretty good value and, as I said, there are some great brands in there too.
Cult Beauty is to date still one of my favourite beauty websites to shop at, they have some amazing brands which often you can’t get elsewhere, I like to keep up to date with their site and the ‘new in’ section as much as possible which is where I first saw the starter kit.

Inside The Cult Beauty Starter Kit you get the following:
- Living Proof Restore Mask Treatment – 28g
- The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% with HA -30ml
- Patchology Flashmasque Hydrate -1 Mask
- Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping Mask – 30ml
- NARS Multiple in the shade ‘orgasm’ – 4g
- Huda Beauty Topaz Obsessions Palette – Full Size
Overall I think it is great value and that it has some amazing brands in there too. The NARS Multiple is already a favourite, I have opened this up to use as I have wanted one for a while and I really do like it; it is so easy to use and also very travel-friendly. The Ordinary also has some great affordable skincare so it is nice to see one of their products within this box, along with Living Proof and Patchology. I was also delighted to see Glow Recipe in the box as I have wanted to try this brand for such a long time, I can’t wait to give the sleeping mask a try. Finally, the Huda Beauty Topaz Palette was a welcome addition to the box, I really like it in term of quality and design, however, I can’t work out of the shades a bit too warm for me. I have only used it once so I need to decide whether I am going to give it away/sell it or persevere. What do you think?
Have you tried one of The Cult Beauty Starter Kits?
