Father’s Day is just around the corner and if you are looking for some last-minute gift ideas then I have just the post for you. I must admit, I never really know what to get my Dad. I find him very hard to buy for, however, there is always something that pops up in the end which seems ideal and this year is, of course, no exception. This year it will be a bit strange with the social distancing element in place, however, now that the lockdown has eased a little bit I am so glad that I will be able to get out and see my Dad, even if it is at a distance.
I have a few bits and pieces to share with you today that I have put together to form this Father’s Day-themed gift guide. I am hoping that my Dad won’t catch a glimpse of this before Sunday so keep your fingers crossed for me! I haven’t done many gift guides in the past so if you do like this one, please do let me know.
The team at Moonpig have kindly contributed towards this gift guide which is wonderful of them. They provided me with a voucher of £50 in order to pick a few products of my choosing that would be great gifts for my Dad this Father’s Day. Now that they are here, I thought I would give you the low down on the gift guide and of course what is available at Moonpig if you’re shopping for last-minute gifts.
Moonpig has a great selection of Father’s Day gifts, so much so that I was really quite torn on what to pick. In the end, I decided to go for the classic board game Monopoly* which has the theme of Queen running through it. My Dad is a huge fan of Queen and he is a guitarist so I know he will like this. I have seen lots of different themes for Monopoly over the years but I have never played any aside from the classic version so I am keen to see what this is like once he opens it.
I also know my Dad really likes The Peaky Blinders programme, so when I saw the Peaky Blinders Gift Set* I knew that this would be right up his street. I love the glass it comes with too and it’ll be a nice little keepsake once he has finished the drinks.
Of course, Moonpig is also very well known for its cards, I believe that is where the brand first stemmed from and they have built up from there. This time around I didn’t get a card from Moonpig as I already had one that I purchased a few weeks ago, however, they have some fantastic cards which you can personalise to make them that extra bit special, or if that isn’t your thing then there are lots to choose from in general from their Father’s Day range.
I also included some body care products from Ted Baker and Dove Men, as, lets face it, sets like these are always a given for these kinds of occasions and they will always get used up throughout the year. The last product I decided to add to the guide was an eye cream from The Inkey List. This has some really good reviews, although I know I haven’t personally tried it I thought it would be a nice addition to the gift guide as I am quite sure that men do like to look after their skin, even if they don’t let on so much.
Moonpig also have a variety of food gifts too, there are lots of hampers, chocolate gifts and more so it is well worth checking them out to see if something tickles your fancy for Dad this year.
