AD/PR Product (This post contains products which have been sent to me for consideration as a PR sample only, all thoughts are my own).
Another month comes to an end and before it does, I want to quickly share with you the Latest in Beauty November Edit* which recently arrived at my door. As always with Latest in Beauty, there was quite the selection of products to choose from this month, in fact, I thought it was a great month in terms of the products on offer as there were lots of new brands that I had not heard of before. Some of them arrived after I selected my six products but perhaps I can include a few in Decembers edit, all being well.
If you don’t know how it works by now, there is a new product which launches each day of the month and there is one hall of fame product which you should be able to obtain throughout the month. Essentially, you shouldn’t miss out on it no matter when you make your selection of products, whether that is at the very start of the month or at the end. This month, the hall of fame product was from Aveda which is a brand I do know of, but it is one I have never really tried before; I am very much looking forward to giving it a whirl so to speak.
I made a selection of mixed variety this month I feel, a little bit of skincare, bodycare, haircare and makeup which is a little unusual for me. It was a good mix which is why I am excited to share ui with you. The products I chose were as follows:
- Sukin Blemish Control Clearing Facial Wash – 20ml
- Polaar Very High Protection SPF50 – 50ml
- Umberto Giannini Colour Flowerology Coco + Rose Hair Mask -200ml
- Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair – 100ml
- Byre Semi Skimmed Body Wash – 250ml
- Inika Organic Certified Organic Lipstick Crayon – Rose Petal
I also received with my order the Estee Lauder Hand Sanitizer which I also got last month. I think they are giving these out with all orders at present which is super handy, no pun intended.
I am really pleased with the products I have selected, I can of course already say that the Polaar SPF is brilliant. I used up a smaller size of this earlier in the year and said that I would repurchase, I, therefore, took this as an opportunity to pick up the bigger size as I really enjoyed this SPF. It is lightweight, sinks in well and does not leave a white cast in my opinion. It is also factor 50 which is the protection rate I prefer if possible. I haven’t tried any of the other products but I do want to mention just how impressed I am with the packaging of the Byre Semi-Skimmed Body Wash. Right down from the name of the product (a play on milk varieties), packaging (it looks like a milk bottle almost) and theme, I think it is brilliant. It also smells really soothing! I can see this being a really nice hydrating body wash which I am looking forward to trying out.
Overall, I am very pleased with this box and the brands that were on offer at Latest In Beauty this month. They had a whole week dedicated to vegan beauty which is also worth checking out if you’re in the market for that, there were some lovely looking products to discover.
