AD/PR Product – Christmas Gifting with L’Occitane (This post contains products which have been sent to me for consideration as a PR sample only, all thoughts are my own).
Christmas gifting, I love it. I absolutely adore buying gifts for people! It brings me huge joy and excitement and always has. Despite the somewhat strange year of 2020, this has not dampened my spirit; I am feeling rather festive as we edge ever closer to the big day. Whilst I know Christmas won’t be the same for many this year, myself included, I am still enjoying the season and planning my Christmas gifts. This brings me nicely onto the topic of some of the gifts L’Occitane has this year, which, I have to say, are very impressive.
Each year L’Occitane release beautiful gift sets and this year is no exception to that. I have two to share with you today, those being the L’Occitane Festive Hand Cream Trio* which comes in this gorgeous little steel keepsake tin for £21. Inside the set you will find the Shea Bergamot Hand Cream, Shea Butter Hand Cream and the Verbena Mandarin Hand Cream, which I believe, is a new scent and let me tell you, it is gorgeous! It is probably my favourite scent from L’Occitane so far alongside the traditional almond and shea scents they offer. I think this is a wonderful gift set as we all know just how popular these hand creams are. They’re all 30ml which means they are super handy for popping in your handbag too; a great gift and also practical given how much we are all using hand sanitiser lately.
The L’Occitane Verbena Mandarin Melting Hand Cream* and the Verbena Mandarin Shower Foam* are also new additions to my L’Occitane collection and they are most welcome. This is a great scent for Christmas, it is of course the scent of mandarin and it is just lovely. I am very fond of citrus scents anyway so this was always going to be a hit with me. Enriched with 5% shea butter, this has a gorgeous whipped texture which sinks into the hands really well. I opened this as soon as it arrived as I was so eager to try the scent, it goes with me everywhere now and I can see this hand cream in particular being a repurchase; I love it. There is also the shower foam to take into account which I haven’t yet personally tried, however I do like products like this so I am curious to see how I get on with it. I haven’t tried a shower foam specifically from L’Occiatne before so fingers crossed it is just as nice as the hand cream in terms of the scent.
Finally, I saved the best till last, so much so, that it looks as though this specific gift set, The Best of L’Occitane Collection* has sold out. I am however not surprised in the slightest, it is jam packed full of L’Occitane’s best selling products and indeed some of my favourites for just £69. Inside this kit, if you can find it online, you will receive the Almond Shower Oil 250ml, Shea Butter Hand Cream 75ml, Shea Butter Foot Cream 30ml, Lavender Foaming Bath 100ml, Almond Milk Concentrate 100ml and the miniature Herbae par L’Occitane EDP 5ml. I love the products which have been selected for this collection, the only one I haven’t tried is the Lavender Foaming Bath which I will certainly be aiming to do very soon; it sounds absolutely divine and so relaxing!
