It has felt like ages since I last sat down to write a blog post. Work has been intense, life is super busy right now which seems strange to say given that we can’t actually go out and do anything other than a food shop and go for a walk. Due to this, I have got myself back into reading, well, it stems back from last year really but it has grown and grown throughout the lockdown period. I’ve fallen into a world of books and reading once more and I love it. I have some book content coming up soon so I hope you enjoy it, however in the meantime, I’m here to share with you a few products from Nivea which they have kindly sent over to me for Valentine’s Day.
Of course, as I just said, many couples won’t be spending Valentine’s Day this year like they are used to. No cinema dates, no romantic meals out at their favourite restaurants; no mini-breaks etc. It’s all a bit low key, however, you can still make it fun and romantic at home. You don’t need anything fancy, just you and your loved one.
This Valentine’s we will be curling up on the sofa and watching a good film with some nicely lit candles. In truth, we will most likely an action/thriller as that is just our vibe, or, in contrast, we will finally finish The Crown which has been fantastic! If you haven’t watched it, I would highly recommend trying it out. We didn’t think that it would be for us but we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Alongside that, I am tempted to get a cheeky takeaway but we shall see, we often do cook together and as he is an amazing cook, nicknamed ‘head chef’ the food always turns out delicious! I am inclined for us to cook something together, with him taking the lead role as cooking is not my forte.
Other than that, we might have a little pamper evening as we have some face masks to use and food masks too! Of course, the Nivea products are going to come in super handy, my partner loves Nivea and often uses their products so it is great to stock him up on some of his favourites, he loves the Deep Pore Cleansing Mask* and I am really keen to try the new Rose Care Moisturising Gel Cream* which contains hyaluronic acid and organic rose water.
