A Relaxing Mother’s Day with Nivea – AD/PR Products (This post contains products which have been sent to me for consideration as a PR sample only, all thoughts are my own)
Mother’s Day is here already. I am not quite sure where this year is going, especially given we are still in a lockdown, time seems to be going quite quickly. It is a huge contrast to last year! I’m going to keep this short and sweet as I’m writing this at 9:46 pm, the night before Mother’s Day. Don’t ask, it has been somewhat of a hectic week, to say the least. I am of course excited to share with you some products that Nivea sent over to me in celebration of Mother’s Day this week, I’m going to share them with mum of course as she is quite a fan of Nivea, so is my Nan come to think of it.
Nivea has sent over some great products for keeping your skin hydrated, nourished and moisturised. First up, I’m starting with the Nivea Bath Cream* it’s a huge bottle and this will last us ages! I adore baths personally and find them so relaxing, so do most people I know. This is a great way to kick off a pamper evening as far as I am concerned. Next is the Nivea Cherry Blossom and Jojoba Oil Body Lotion* which smells lovely, I have used this product before and it is really nice I have to say. Sometimes I can find that with more affordable body lotions that they can be sticky, or they take ages to sink in but that is just not the case with this at all. It is a beautiful body moisturiser and I would recommend it, my skin always feels so smooth after I used it. The smell is light, floral but not strong at all. I like it and I would repurchase this particular product, and indeed the bath cream in the future for myself.
Nivea also sent across the Smooth Hands and Nail Care Hand Cream* which I will be giving to mum as she likes hand creams, I do like them but I don’t reach for them very often so I have quite a few to work through. I have tried this though, for the purpose of this post and it seems quite nice, I find that the body lotion above sinks in quicker but it could be due to the fact that the hand cream is richer. Either way, it’s nice, it also smells nice; I find it quite a calming scent so t would be a nice hand cream to apply before bed.
There is also the Nivea Hyaluron Cellular Filler Sculpting Cryo-Sheet-Mask* which I have to say, I haven’t seen before. I won’t be trying this out myself as I’m gifting it to my mum along with a few other things but the idea of it sounds great. This mask aims to plump and smooth the skin as well as hydrating it, it contains hyaluron, collagen and elastin boosters.
Finally, from the same range, we have the Hyaluron Cellular Filler Elasticity Reshape Anti Age Day Cream* and the Hyaluron Cellular Filler Elasticity Reshape Anti Age Night Cream*. Firstly, I love the packaging of these, I think the rose gold got me good. Of course its not all about the packaging but it is part of the experience, especially when the products are gifts for loved ones. As far as I can see, these are not new products but they recently been re-vamped to have an improved cell strength within the formula. These two moisturisers help to prompt skin cells to produce their own collagen and elastin, they also improve cell strength so that the cells in your skin are boosted so that they produce new cells and regenerate, increasing the skin barrier function and formation.
Overall, I think there are some lovely products here for Mother’s Day and indeed anybody looking for some new products within their daily skincare, and bodycare routine.
