Being the beady eyed blogger that I’ve become I’m
always on the hunt for new things, so when I spotted a new range in Superdrug a
few weeks ago I immediately zapped myself over to the stand.
The new range by B. really intrigued me as it aims
to provide premium beauty and skin care at affordable prices, who can say no to
that? Now, I’m trying to be good and not buy duplicates of items, products that
aim to do the same thing as I literally have so much stuff floating around
(this does not include nail polish, I’m addicted)! However, I had nothing that
described itself as’micellar water’ and after hearing so much about Bioderma I
just knew that I had to at least give the B.Pure Micellar Water a whirl.
Now at the time this cost me £3.99 as it was on
promotional offer, at full price it is £4.99 for 150ml which is still pretty
reasonable. It is a 3 in 1 cleanser which aims to dissolve make up in one
sweep, I believe this is a bold statement for any product yet I have to say it
does achieve this pretty well. I did try it on my eyes for ‘blogger purposes’
as I wouldn’t normally use anything else on my eyes other than a specific eye
makeup remover and here to be honest is where I felt it met its downfall. For
me this didn’t remove my eye makeup that well, I have to say that my makeup at
the time was not even waterproof so it wasn’t even at the more stubborn end of
removal which I guess is a bad thing for some.
Having said that, because I wouldn’t normally use
it for my eye makeup I’m not too fussed by this as for me it works pretty great
on the rest of my face. My main gripe with it in all honesty is the amount you
get, as I feel like it will not last me very long at all; they should
definitely consider selling a bigger version of this in my opinion. (Maybe I’m
just heavy handed with my products though; I can get a little carried away)!
I noted that once I had used this skin felt
refreshed and very clean, it did not leave any feeling of tightness on my face
at all so it did pretty well I must say. At the moment I would definitely
re-buy this as it did the job for me and it is cruelty free, yay!
A big selling point of everything by B. is the
fact that all their products carry the leaping bunny logo, along with this the
micellar water is suitable for vegans. As for their other products you would
need to check as I’m not 100% sure if vegan applies to everything that they
currently have on offer.
B. products can be picked up from Superdrug.
