We’ve just had a huge amount of rain fall from the sky! I also woke up to a
thunder storm this morning, the sky outside was so dark it was like night
time…so weird but very cool!
I would like to share with you all today a couple of items of jewellery that
I have purchased (this was before my spending ban I might add). Aside from
beauty products I absolutely love jewellery, I really want to start making some
small items but I’m not entirely sure how to get into it. I did visit hobby
craft at the weekend and the prices of beads etc are crazy, however I know that
probably wasn’t the best place to go as they can be quite expensive.
Anyhow, onto the items!
The first item is a bracelet I picked up from Dorothy Perkins in the sale
for £2. I chose the mint green one and I also got one in peach for my sister, I
love these bracelets.
They are the type which requires you to pull either side, which is ok with
two people but I find it quite difficult on my own haha! I need more practice.
My second item is something that I purchased off eBay on a whim really. I
liked it a lot, however it had to be shipped over from Hong Kong and I was
dubious as I had never ordered anything from so far away before; I thought it
might have got lost. Oh was I wrong! It arrived within one week, I was so
shocked and my opinion was changed, I need not worry so much next time.
I ordered an owl necklace for 99p along with 50p p&p, I thought that if
it did get lost at least I haven’t spent too much; here is a link to the seller.
It arrived in a little red gift box with a silver bow on which I thought was a
lovely little touch.
I really like this necklace, the gems are really quite sparkly and for the price I paid I really cannot find any faults with it; it’s perfect!
