As some of you may know I visit Edinburgh quite frequently as my boyfriend studies up there at University. I’ve called this ‘Edinburgh Trip #2’ but I’ve actually now lost track of how many times I’ve been. However, no matter how often I go I still get incredibly excited as I just adore the city, plus, there is that added bonus of having my lovely boyfriend waiting for me at the train station.
I’m going to do a mini haul post about the things that I purchased whilst I was there, so look out for that in the next coming days. I thought I would just share with you a few images that I took whilst I was there.
This
was taken in Princes Street Gardens on the day I went to town to do a little shopping;
it was a lovely sunny, but crisp day!
My
boyfriend bought us both tickets to go and see Scotland v South Africa at
Murrayfield. This was one of the Autumn International Rugby matches being held.
I have an obsession with the scottish national anthem to be honest so I was so
excited to see the stadium full of the Scottish singing along as well as
getting to hear it live for myself. I do like rugby a lot just to clarify; we
didn’t go just to hear the anthem haha!
Testing out the panoramic shot on my camera phone, first attempt, I think it turned out ok.
My first experience at a live Rugby Match, it was incredible! I loved the atmosphere and
the entertainment that was put on before the match started and of course the
Scottish national anthem.
On the walk down to the station to head back home I took my last picture of Edinburgh; here is the castle. Did you
know that it sits upon top of an ancient volcano?
