May has completely flown by for me, I spent two weeks in Edinburgh with my boyfriend after handing in my last ever assignment for university and now I’m back home after moving out of my flat; just in the nick of time to post my favourite products of the month.
First up I’ve been really liking the No7 BB Lips in Blush
Coral which I picked up whilst the No7 vouchers were floating around a number
of weeks ago. I really do like this as they provide a nice bit of moisture to
the lips whilst also adding colour, they’re glossy but not sticky in the
slightest. These get thumbs up from me!
A while ago balance Me had the Wonder
Eye Cream free with a magazine, needless to say I quickly picked this up. I
have however only opened it this month and I wish I had sooner as it is such a
nice product. It is a nice light cream with a slight scent to it which isn’t
overwhelming in the least, I have found that it really does brighten up my eye
area which in the world of eye creams is something to take note of as I never
find any that work; this however is a new found love and I would definitely
purchase the bigger version in the future.
Another product from balance Me is within my favourites this month, with
this being the Cleanse
and Smooth Face Balm*. I’ve being using this ever since I received it and I
simply adore it, I did a review here
if you would like to read more.
Next up is the Super
Facialist Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil by Una Brennan. I use
this oil a couple times of week to take my make up off as I do like to use
different things on my skin; I’m forever switching it up. I find this works beautifully,
with it leaving my skin feeling fantastic; it removes my entire make up
wonderfully. My only real criticism of this is that the dispenser can pump out
quite a bit if you’re not careful, so the product could easily be wasted; I
also wish the bottle was bigger.
Last up is a MAC Lipstick in
the shade patisserie which has become my go to lipstick this last month, I
simply adore it. I have Anna at ‘viviannadoesmakeup‘
to thank for this as I saw her using it and completely fell in love. I wanted
to see what it was like in the flesh so to speak, so after stopping by at the
MAC counter in Edinburgh I finally swatched it and made my mind up that yes,
patisserie would be coming home with me that day; it’s love. I must note that MAC are no longer cruelty free as they sell in China.
