Shortly after Christmas I made an Origins purchase with some money that I had been given from some of my family members. Having wanted to try a few more products from the brand for such a long time I decided that this would be the perfect opportunity.
Upon having a browse online I stumbled across the Origins 24 Hour Glow Set on the Origins website, this lovely selection of products included High Potency Night-A-Mins (full size), GinZing Energy-boosting moisturiser 15 ml and the Checks & Balances Frothy face wash 30ml. The price of this set was £34 which is the total price of Night-A-Mins alone. I personally thought this was a very good deal indeed and proceeded to order it after reading just a few more reviews on Night-A-Mins before I clicked confirmation.
The High Potency Night-A-Mins had been a night cream upon my wish list for a very long time having read so many positive blog reviews in the past, therefore this seemed the perfect time to pick it up and also benefit from some extra added products. I can’t fail to acknowledge the cute little cosmetic bag that came with it which I think is lovely; I really like the illustrations on it and I know it will come in handy in the future on more than one occasion.
This is not a review on any of the products at the moment as I really haven’t had long enough to use the night cream to be able to write my conclusion on it, however so far so good. The GinZing moisturiser is already a favourite of mine and I have done a review on this not so long back, you can read that here if you like.
Seeing that I purchased this from the Origins website I also qualified for a couple of samples at the checkout. I’m rather partial to a sample or two so I was super pleased about this. At the checkout I chose two eye creams, GinZing and Plantscription. It would have been nice if the GinZing eye cream sample had been in a little tube like the latter as I believe more product is in that and it also saves having a little packet open which can be messy at times. (Upon reading this back I had to get the samples out to check and yes I was correct, the GinZing sample contains 1.5ml and the Plantscription sample contains 5ml).
I’ll be back with a full review of the products I’ve picked up within this set at a later date however seeing that it is still available to buy at the moment I wanted to feature this as soon as possible as I’m not sure how much longer it will be around for. This has already been removed from the Origins web page but it is still available at Debenhams and House of Fraser. There are also some similar sets floating around which are made up of different products but the same cosmetic bag, the Dr Weil set really appeals to me.
