| Zara Crackle Effect City Bag |
Considering I put down in writing on here just a few days ago that I would not be spending in the sales this year I must admit I feel a bit sheepish posting this. Whilst browsing the online Zara sale a few days ago I couldn’t help but find myself in the handbag section, upon spotting the Crackle Effect City Bag my heart immediately skipped a few beats. To cut a long story short I decided to order it, what the heck, therefore once it arrived I thought I would share it with you just in case any of you liked it and wanted to snap it up whilst it was still available.
This was in the sale for £29.99 instead of £39.99, which to me isn’t a particularly good saving in my opinion. Having said that I have had a bag in the past from Zara and I have to say the quality really impressed me therefore I knew it would be money well spent.
The bag is made up of navy blue, black (although it may actually be just a very dark navy) and silver. The clasp, buttons and zip detail are silver as well as the second panel inside, this second panel is of a metallic silver finish which adds a little something extra to the bag; I think it really stands out as quite a unique design. As you can see there is a zip pocket on the back, this goes all the way down to the bottom of the bag so it is a reasonable sized pocket. The strap is detachable although I’m not sure why you would want to detach it as there is no handle on this.
The inside of the bag was so incredibly difficult to photograph therefore I apologise for lack of pictures. Basically there are two compartments inside which are kept closed via the clasp. Upon sliding the clasp open and lifting up the blue flap this then reveals the first compartment which will hold a nice variety of things. The second compartment is only revealed after the silver flap is lifted which is kept in place by two magnetic buttons (I have no idea what the exact name for those are). This second compartment is the same size as the first; I would also say that this one is more secure seeing as you have to go through two forms of bag security so to speak to get there.
As of writing this post this bag is still available to buy.
Update 02/04/2014 this is sadly no longer available however Zara always have stunning bags, it’s worth having a look.
