The UK has done us Brits proud so far this year when it comes to summer, I mean for a start we have actually had one this year which makes a bit of a change. Of course with the sunshine there comes the inevitable fashion crisis that I have every time the sun peeps out however for the first time in a long time I haven’t had to worry about what to wear in order to protect my eyes.
The Ray-Ban Erika Sunglasses* have been an absolute lifesaver the past week or so. It has been so bright outside and indeed hot that I have being reaching for these at every opportunity ever since they arrived. I had always completely underestimated the power of a good pair of sunglasses; I know I will not make that mistake again. Slightly different to the cult classic Wayfarer style the Erika frame as you can see is more rounded at the bottom and has much thinner temples compared to many other styles available. I find that this particular frame is a lot more elegant compared to many Ray-Ban styles available however I also think that they are more fragile so that’s something to bear in mind.
The Erika frame is available from The Sunglasses Shop and comes in a variety of colours which is pretty impressive however I stuck to the traditional matte black option as I don’t think I’d be able to pull off a purple or blue pair any time soon. Delivery from The Sunglasses Shop was superb, they arrived the next day after they were dispatched and I was even able to track them all the way to my house; fantastic!
Overall I’m incredibly happy with this pair of sunglasses therefore keep on coming sunshine, I’m ready for you!
