Well hello December! Oh, how I have been looking forward to you! The last few months of this year have been really great for me, especially in respect of my personal life therefore I feel as though I have an extra spring in my step. I am so excited for Christmas and for spending it with those I love, it is going to be magical!
Each year I tend to put together a Christmas Wish List post of some description, and this year is no exception. As always it is just a bit of fun, these are all items I would love to receive under my tree if money was of course no object. This year it is quite focused on jewellery as I am looking to change my style up a little bit, this is therefore demonstrated within my wish list.
So, kicking off with Jewellery, I’ll admit to picking up over Black Friday weekend the Estee Lalonde Flat Snake Chain Necklace in Gold Vermail from Daisy Jewellery and I am absolutely in love with it. The necklace fits and sits beautifully, I adore the length and find it really flattering when worn. I love it so much that I now want to pick up the Sterling Silver version too which again looks stunning, they also do matching bracelets which I also have my eye on. Sticking with necklaces for one more moment, I have discovered Mikaela Lyons Jewellery via Alice Catherine in which they have both collaborated to make their own little collection which is gorgeous! The Prettiest Star Collection is the name and I really would like a piece to call my own. The Prettiest Star Rectangle Pendant necklace is my favourite from the collection, I love the vintage vibe of this and how weighty it looks (this is very important). Moving onto ears, I also would like to pick up the Missoma Gold Molten Small Hoops as I already own the mini ones and they are super cute! I have my ears pierced twice and would like to wear two sets of hoops at the same time; I really like how that looks, especially if they are of the same design. In fact, the whole molten range from Missoma is really nice, although lets face it, everything they make is beautiful.
Of course, with all of this jewellery you need somewhere to store it. I have set my eyes on the Oliver Bonas Three Arm Gold and Marble Base Jewellery Stand. There are a few of similar ones online but this one seems to be the nicest one that I have found without it costing an arm and a leg. This would look gorgeous adorned with some of my favourite pieces.
Moving back to beauty, the Giorgio Armani Si fragrance is one of my favourites from this year. You may remember that I picked that up in the Boxing Day Sales last year and I intend to look for the Giorgio Armani Si Passione version this year, although in truth I don’t expect to find it. This has notes of Vanilla, Black Pepper, Jasmine, Red Rose and Cedarwood. If you haven’t yet tried it I would highly recommend having a spritz of it next time you pass it by.
The final two products are skincare and come from my favourite brand Kiehls and the brand Drunk Elephant which has recently hit the UK. From Kiehls I would really like a new tub of the Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. I have gone through a great number of these in the last few years and now find myself without one having run out a few months ago. I adore this eye cream and always go back to it. The final product is a bit of a introductory kit to Drunk Elephant, that being the Inspector Drunk Kit which I’ll admit is quite expensive. I think judging from the prices of these products in general that a kit like this is the best way to go as it works out better value, you also of course get to try more products and establish what works for you and what doesn’t before you commit to buying the full sizes.
So that is my Christmas Wish List for 2018, what is on yours?
