It is that time of year again, Mother’s Day. This is a special day to many and it fills me with delight to be able to share with you several products that the lovely team at Nivea sent over to me in order to celebrate the occasion. My mum is in for such a treat as she is (as I have mentioned before) a big fan of Nivea, particularly the Q10 range, so this will be a very grateful gift received I am sure. This parcel arrived on Friday so it is a bit of a last-minute blog post, however, I am sure that can be forgiven.
This wonderful package was packed full of Nivea goodies for mum, so I thought it would be nice to share them briefly with you here today. I think this was really thoughtful of Nivea and it is always nice to share with you pr samples which are done well.
So, what was inside? Firstly, the Nivea Q10 3 in 1 Anti-Age Hand Cream* which I know my mum will make use of, especially at the moment due to the global pandemic of COVID-19. This is a sad topic to bring up in what is a positive and happy post, however, it is the reality that we all face at present, therefore, I may also be borrowing this myself as my hands are super dry from all the handwashing that I am doing. This hand cream as the name would suggest aims to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and UV induced age spots.
Secondly, there is the Nivea Q10 Power Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Replenishing Serum Pearls*. I have to say, this product visually looks fantastic! I love the visible yellow pearls inside, things like this have always fascinated me and always will I am sure. This serum contains Q10 which is a powerful active ingredient which is naturally found within the skin, yet over time and as we age the levels of this decrease in our skin. This serum replenishes the skin with Q10 once applied to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The yellow pearls and moisturising gel mix together when dispensed to create a silky serum leaving soft and smooth skin.
Lastly, Mum has been sent the Nivea Q10 Power Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Night Cream* and the Nivea Q10 Power Age Spot Day Cream with SPF30*, these sound like a great little duo to work together at enhancing and protecting the skin from ageing. The Q10 found in both products is identical to what is found naturally in the skin. This is gained by a natural yeast fermentation process which I will not pretend to understand, however, it is nice to know that it is replicated in the products as it is in the skin.
I just want to say a huge thank you to the team at Nivea for such a lovely, thoughtful press release at this time of year. It is a beautiful gift and I know it will make Mother’s Day that extra bit special.
