Every now and then there comes along a new skincare launch which immediately catches my attention. This just so happened with the Tonic15 x Beaussima For The Love of Skin Kit which launched last month. After not too much hesitation and a great live on Instagram, I gave in and ordered it. There was no chance I was letting this sell out before my eyes; no chance.
You may recall that I featured the previous Tonic 15 Kit which was in collaboration with Suitcase Magazine back in April this year. I adored this kit and have slowly made my way through some of the products which were inside. Based on this, I knew this kit would be a great one to get my hands on, plus, how nice is the blush pink travel bag! I now have two of these travel bags so maybe I should stop there.
The kit has been put together by Tonic 15 and Nassmina, also known as Beaussima. Together, they have selected a range of products from the likes of brands such as Klairs, I’m From, Sioris, Huxley and more. All together forming a kit based upon self care and protecting the skin’s barrier.
The kit retails at £64 and is worth £128.90 at full retail price, it also still available at the time of writing. It is also fantastic to see that 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the kits is going to two charities which have been selected by Nassima, those being Beauty Backed and the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
Inside the kit there are four full-size products and six travel-sized products, there are also two sample sachets too which is handy if you were looking to try the products.
Out of the whole kit, I am looking forward to using the Huxley Oil Essence, Essence Like, Oil Like Serum, the KEEP COOL Soothe Bamboo Sun Essence SPF50+ which I have heard so much about and the I’m From Fig Boosting Essence.
I have to also add that the product I was looking forward to using the most was in fact the Aromatica Orange Cleansing Sherbert which I actually opened on the day this arrived, I just could not wait. I love it, it smells great although, in my opinion, the scent could be a bit stronger. It is on the cusp of being too faint but that’s just my personal opinion; I love citrus scents so the stronger the better for me! Having said that, this is just the travel size so maybe the full size will be stronger? Either way, I will find out as I do plan on ordering the full-size version. The balm itself is fantastic, it melts off my make up and equally doubles up as a great second cleanse, it is lush! My skin is left hydrated, clean and refreshed, I like this a lot already.
Of course I have already used the Sioris Time Is Running Out Mist having got the smaller travel size in the previous Tonic15 kit. I have really enjoyed this mist, it smells incredible and it is really hydrating on my skin. The only issue I have had is that the spray on the travel size bottle is quite strong, stronger than I would like for a facial mist. Whether the full size bottle spray is the same is yet to become clear as I haven’t yet opened it.
On a whole, I am beyond pleased with this kit, Tonic15 have once again pulled it out the bag, no pun intended.
