As you may well have noticed, I have had a bit of a thing for beauty boxes this year. For a long, long time I didn’t get that involved with them having had my initial experiences, however, I believe that over time so many have improved, especially with some of the limited edition launches released over the last few months I have found that I have stumbled upon some fantastic deals.
Of course, being a beauty blogger I have a huge interest in discovering new brands, therefore when I found out that Latest In Beauty was teaming up with Sainsbury’s to create the Latest In Beauty Sainsburys Beauty Awards Box I was immediately hooked! Not least because it contained brands that I knew and loved, along with others that I wanted to try after seeing them in my local store, but also because it was affordable and such great value for money.
Now, I will advise that I did purchase this box myself. Upon arrival, however, I received two in the post which initially made me think that there had been an error at Latest In Beauty. As it turned out, they had also sent me one too as a PR sample which was very kind of them! Therefore, I have marked this post as gifted because I was sent one, but I also wanted to stress that I did buy it out of my own money too as I really wanted it; I think it is such a good box. Retailing at £25 and bing worth £90 it is a bargain and I am already using some of the items within it.
There are a total of 14 award-nominated products from the Sainsburys Beauty Awards within the box with 9 of them being full-sized. As I said, it is a fantastic deal, especially if you shop in Sainsbury’s and have seen these brands adorning their shelves. I must admit that they have often caught my eye so this is a nice, affordable way of trying a few of the brands on offer.

Highlights for me from this box consist of the Super Facialist Vitamin C Cleansing Oil (I love this brand) and the Love Beauty & Planet haircare range as I have wanted to try some of their haircare for a while now.
Overall I think it is a great box and that it would make an awesome gift to oneself or as a treat for another. Please do let me know what you think of this as I think it is fabulous!
