I am so excited to share with you today the Cohorted January Vegan Beauty Box*. I am jumping straight into it this time because it is a good one, trust me. What’s better? It is still available, yes, you heard that right. So, if you want to see what is inside and learn a bit more about the box then please do stick around.
There are of course lots of vegan beauty brands within the box which is great if this is where your preferences lie when it comes to the products you buy. Whilst I dabble across a number of brands, I understand that for some, using vegan beauty products is extremely important so it is great to see a specifically targeted box like this one. I also love that like always, I have been able to discover a number of new brands that I had not heard of before which is always the beauty of boxes like this.
So, the box itself has a value of £186.11 to be precise, but you can pick it up for £50 by subscribing to Cohorted. This box is on the slightly pricey side when you compare it to other monthly beauty boxes, having said that, you get some very good brands in here which are higher-end and of course are higher price points.
So, lets jump straight into it.

Oh, Balance Me. I hold a soft spot for this brand as they were one of the very first brands I worked with on a PR basis back in the day. I loved the products I used but it has been a while since I reached for them. That is often the nature with being a beauty blogger, there are so many to try and curiosity always wins over. I would 100% recommend the Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm, it was my favourite for a long time. In this box, you are graced with the Tri-Molecular Hyaluronic Serum which retails at £30. Hyaluronic acid is a bit of a buzz word at the moment and for good reason. It can help retain over 1,000 times its weight in water which is incredible when you think about it. Dry and dehydrated skins will thank you for this, however, I am quite sure most skin types would benefit from it.
One of the stand out products for me in the box is the Ofra Cosmetics Feelin’ Myself Highlighter Palette which alone retails at £35. It is absolutely stunning and these photos by no means do it justice. I wanted to capture the detail of the palette as that is very important to me. It truly is gorgeous and if you do get the chance to try Ofra Cosmetics yourself then I would urge you to do so. The three shades are beautiful and are quite metallic when swatched. The pigment seems fairly strong and they blend beautifully. I wouldn’t use all three as a highlight, however you could easily get away with using them as an eyeshadow and a blush where the pinks shade is concerned.
I also was really pleased to receive one of the Nails Inc Plant Power Nail Polishes. I received the shade ‘Everyday Self Care’ which seems very appropriate right now given the current climate. These polishes have a 73% plant based formula which seems incredible for a nail polish. It aims to be kinder to your nails and more gentle with promising no compromise on longevity or quality. I haven’t yet tried this but will give it a go in the coming weeks to see how I get on.
Another highlight, in particular, comes from Laruce. This is a brand that I had not heard of until now and I am so pleased to have discovered it. My first impressions of these brushes is good, very, very good. Firstly, I love the design. They have a unique design in which the handle is studded as you can see and is made out of rubber, making them easy to hold and use. I have three brushes here today, the Flat Foundation Brush which retails at £24.54, the Angle Contour Brush which retails at £26.07 and finally the Highlighter Brush which retails at £24.50. They’re not cheap brushes by any means, but obviously, by purchasing this box you’re getting a good deal on them. I also have a feeling that they will last quite a long time, they feel very robust to me.
Overall, I am delighted with the box and its contents. My first impressions of Cohorted as a company are great, I find it hard to imagine any monthly box beating this one in truth. It is brilliant!
