A new month of a brand new year seems to have quite a refreshing effect on so many people. It symbolises a fresh start for so many, a chance to change, to do something different, achieve your dreams or at least start to. If so many positive things can be drawn from just one single brand new day then who am I to criticise. I read a lot of things that put a bit of a downer on those who want to start afresh in the New Year, a whole heap of criticism to the ‘new year, new me’ phrase and honestly, I think that is such a shame.
Of course we don’t have to wait for the 1st of January to kick start a new health kick, we can do that any day, at any time of the year. Yet if people choose to wait for a specific day, a symbolic day to them then why the hell shouldn’t they? I like to see encouragement and positive thinking towards people, there has been a lot of negativity in my life over the last two years and personally for me this is where it ends. The 1st of January is somewhat of a clean slate for so many people, including me. It’s time to get rid of all the dust and chains that are holding us back and clogging up our dreams and ambitions, it’s time to start again or simply take a new outlook on things. I’ve not made any specific new year’s resolutions this year for what must be the first time in a very long time. I’m simply just going to try to be more positive, even on the bad days as let’s face it you only get that one day, that one solitary hour once in your life so why make it miserable.
I’m personally really looking forward to 2015; I’m hoping that this year it will be a fantastic one both for me and you. I’d like to wish everyone reading this a truly Happy New Year; I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have had a well-earned rest over the holidays.
2015 Live it, Love it!
