March Beauty Favourites

March Beauty Favourites

March has come to an end rather quickly, as, like all beauty favourites I am left wondering where the last few weeks have gone. Nevertheless, I find myself once again sitting here compiling a few products together which have been some of my favourites throughout the month.

Oxygenetix Foundation

This has to be one of the biggest surprises for me as despite the somewhat hefty price tag this has been a foundation that I have reached for more than I ever expected to. It is worth stating here that this foundation is primarily aimed at those with blemish prone/acneic skin, of which I do not particularly suffer from. I do have the odd blemish here and there but no more than the average person; in a nut shell I would never say that I have had trouble with acne or severe blemishes. Therefore, it is very hard for me to comment on how this foundation works in terms of helping that type of skin condition. However, I can still vouch that this foundation in terms of coverage and longevity is pretty darn good. It never cakes up on dehydrated areas and the colour match is pretty perfect for my skin tone, although I do note that the shade range in general is somewhat limited.

Charlotte Tilbury Nocturnal Cat Eyes to Hypnotise

This was a little treat last year after I faced the last of my exams at university. The Nocturnal Cat Eyes to Hypnotise contains an individual eye shadow and a mini Rock ‘n’ Khol Eye Pencil which can be purchased separately in the full size. These little eye shadows like all of those from Charlotte Tilbury are wonderfully pigmented and easy to blend due to them being so soft. Whilst this is not an every day eye shadow for me due to the sparkles present, I do find myself picking up the pencil in Amber Moon quite often as it really complements my blue eyes.

Sally Hansen Maximum Growth

If there was ever a most repurchased product throughout my beauty history, long before I started blogging then it would be this. I have lost count at how many times I have purchased this product, it seems to be my fail safe when it comes down to growing my nails. Whilst I do not think that this is a miracle worker, I must say that I really do start to notice a difference in my nails quite quickly when I use this, therefore it clearly does work to a degree.

Kiehl’s Tumeric and Cranberry Seed Energizing Face Masque

Only last week I posted my review of this product as I have being using it throughout March and have really come to like the results that this gives me. This latest addition from Kiehl’s really has helped to provide a healthy glow to my skin, leaving it feeling really soft and refreshed. This is the first face mask that I have tried from the brand and I have been nothing short of impressed; I am really looking forward to picking up a few more things from Kiehl’s this year.
