Ok, I’ll hold my hands up. I made a purchase when I said I wasn’t going to. In recent months I have cut back on the beauty spending considerably, however it goes without saying that gift with purchase deals pull me in. Most of the time I refrain from giving in to them unless of course there is something that I need at the time or want to try. That being said, at present I do not need any more skincare or makeup, I really don’t. So what pulled me in with the free gift from Estee Lauder this time? Well, of course, I wanted to try more from Estee Lauder because in the past I haven’t used that much, this was firstly a good opportunity to do so and secondly, I managed to get a gift for Christmas so it worked out quite well in the end. I am already really chuffed with this free gift, in fact, it is the nicest one that I have seen from any of the big brands in recent months.
I must admit that I had not seen this widely advertised, in fact, I only stumbled across it by chance last night whilst browsing Instagram. The reason I am sharing it with you is of course because it is a great little gift, being worth £65 in itself and also because Christmas is coming up and people may now be spending a bit more on luxurious items as gifts for loved ones; I know that I have already started so I can imagine many other people have too. I also wanted to draw your attention to it because the offer ends on Monday, therefore it only has one more day remaining therefore if you want it, head on down to your closest Estee Lauder counter in Boots to check it out, if you can’t then you can still pick this up online. Please note that this particular edition of the gift with purchase is Boots only as I am aware that there are a few other designs of this bag with other retailers.
As you can see, I have made a purchase of a Christmas gift (contents not on show for obvious reasons but can we all appreciate how gorgeous the illustrations are from Megan Hess) along with a second gift set which I had to order online as my local store, unfortunately, did not have it in stock. Luckily the staff at Boots allowed me to do this in order to qualify for the gift, so long as one item was either foundation or skincare, I was good to go.
The bag itself is adorned with makeup and cosmic illustrations in pink, gold, purple, red and blue and it is just utterly gorgeous. I often find that some of the gifts with purchase bags can be of relatively poor quality, however, this is nothing of the sort. It is great and I am very, very happy with it, especially as it also has stars all over it which are my favourite.
