I am squeezing this post into April’s schedule by the skin of its teeth! The April Glossybox was a huge hit with me personally. I loved the blossom theme of the box and the products contained within it. Out of the five products, four of them I will definitely use whereas the other will be going into a giveaway.
I would advise that I have decided to unsubscribe from Glossybox for the foreseeable. That is for personal reasons and it is in no way, shape or form a reflection on the brand; I have really enjoyed the boxes that I have purchased since December 2019. I may look to re-subscribing in the autumn but for now, this will be the last Glossybox that I purchase for a few months.

There were five products within the box which was worth over £110 this month. The brands included were mostly known to me. Firstly, from Hask I received the Deep Conditioner which retails at £2.99. The scent I received was the Rose Oil and Peach scent which I have to say, this would have been the one I wanted to try if I could have chosen so I was really happy to get this one within the box.
For nails, I was happy to see the Nails Inc nail polish in Blossom Kisses. This retails at £15 and it is a beautiful mauve toned pastel polish which looks gorgeous. I haven’t yet tried it myself but I do know that Nails Inc formulas are very nice indeed. I am looking forward to giving this a go as I am somehow managing to grow my nails during the lockdown.
From Rituals (one of my favourite body care brands) I got the Rituals of Sakura Shower Scrub which retails at £4.62 for this size. I love this scent, I always have done so once again, I was delighted to receive this product in my box this month. If you haven’t tried Rituals then I would highly recommend them, they do some great gift sets too which make wonderful gifts for loved ones or indeed yourself.

From Sport FX there is the Coconut Moisturising Lip Balm with SPF15 which retails at £4.99. I personally won’t use this as I don’t really like the packaging or the application method so I will pop this in a giveaway; plus, I have quite a few lip balms to finish as they do take me a while. Hopefully, it will go to somebody that will make some use out of it.
Finally, from Avant, which is a brand I personally had not heard of before this box, we have the Gentle Rose Beautifying Face Exfoliant which retails at £92. Of course this already is a luxurious product given the price tag however I am curious to see how well it works once applied. Have you tried this or indeed have you tried anything from Avant before?
Overall, I am very happy with the April Glossybox and I’m interested to see what they will do for the coming months. No doubt I will regret unsubscribing but for now, this was the right decision for me.
