Gifted (This post contains products which have been gifted to me for consideration, all thoughts are my own).
It is that time again (albeit a bit later than I planned), my February Favourites for 2019 is here! Huzzah, I hear you cry. This months favourite’s post was quite easy to put together as each month I am mixing up what I am using within my beauty collection in order to ensure what I have is somewhat on rotation. In doing so, I am in a way re-discovering products that I already had which is rather lovely! If you haven’t caught up on my January Favourites of 2019 then head on over, there are some old favourites within that too. So, without further delay, my favourite products from February are as follows.
First up, the Stila Convertible Colour Dual Lip and Cheek Cream in the shade Lilium was a new purchase for me towards the end of last summer if I remember correctly. This particular product had been on my wishlist for a while and I have not regretted making my purchase in the slightest. It is a beautiful cream blush (although you can use it on your lips, I choose not to) which adds a gorgeous dewy pop of colour to the cheeks. My skin looks so healthy when I wear this. I would say that this is the nicest cream blush that I have tried to date, although in truth I have always been a powder girl so my experience in the cream blush area is somewhat limited.
Next up is the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour All Over Miracle Oil* which I was sent to review quite a while back now. I liked this when I first used it but then moved onto something else and for some reason I never went back to it. Throughout February this was back in pride of place and ensuring that my limbs were hydrated from tip to toe. If you are like me and like to moisturise quickly then this is for you as it is fuss-free and leaves your skin feeling silky soft.
My third favourite this month is nail polish. This almost never happens as I have the awful habit of biting my nails. Last month I was doing really well with growing them, so much so that I decided to buy new nail polish in celebration. I chose Muchi Muchi by Essie and I loved it! It is such a gorgeous baby pink that looks so flattering, I was also super impressed with the staying power of this. So much so that I will definitely be purchasing from Essie again, despite the price tag. Whilst Essie polishes are not that expensive compared to a brand such as Chanel, they are still quite pricey against other high street brands such as Rimmel and Barry M.
Last year I finally came to own my first Jo Malone fragrance. Pomegranate Noir* is unique to anything else within my collection; you can read more about it here. I recently started using this again having finished up a different fragrance., that will follow in an empties post in due course. This is a gorgeous scent which I think is more suited to evening wear as it is quite deep in term of scent.
My final favourite from February is an old, old favourite. That being the Urban Decay Basics Palette* which I have found myself going back to in order to try and use up some of my older eyeshadow palettes. This is an old classic and one which I still reach for on a fairly regular basis as it is so handy for travel, it fits perfectly in my makeup bag, It has six eyeshadows, five being matte, which when I think about it, I do not have that many matte eyeshadows across my collection, the bulk of them I would say are shimmers. This is a product that I would recommend to anybody who is looking for a nice, simple, everyday palette; you really cannot go wrong.
Did you spot any of your favourites? I would love to know what products you are enjoying currently.
